Hey everyone! I'm Keith, and I live on the Jersey Shore. I was diagnosed at about 12 years old alongside my older brother, who was a High School Junior. I was active in the community at the beginning, but life got in the way for a few years. Now I'm back and more excited than ever to be a part of it!
I look forward to all of the unique people, I'll be able to meet and befriend through my ambassadorship. You'll usually find me making music or fishing, and you'll always be welcome to join me at either!
While I have to walk with a cane and sometimes use a chair, I don't feel my FA limits me too much. It's been somewhere around ten years since diagnosis, and with constant practice, I'm actually better at the bass and guitar, my hands feel stronger and more dexterous. Tying fishing knots might be a bit more frustrating and time-consuming, but believe me, by the time I'm done with one, I'll never forget how to do it again.
I really just see myself as an average guy, I still do anything I want to, maybe just a little bit slower.
